Professor Ikuro Abe and Tomohiko Ohwada from the University of Tokyo came to our company and exchanged experience.
On April 30th, accompanied by the leaders of the Talents Office in Gongshu District, Professor Ikuro Abe and Tomohiko Ohwada from the University of Tokoyo came to our company carrying on academic exchanges. Mr. Song Jipeng, the Director of Operations of German-Sino Healthcare Group, introduced molecular pathology laboratory and other projects to the two professors.
Brief introduction of Professor Ikuro Abe and Professor Tomohiko Ohwada
Ikuro Abe, male, born in November 1960, is a Doctor in Pharmacy from the University of Tokyo. Professor Ikuro Abe got the postdoctoral degree in the Institut de Chimie des Substances Naturells (CNRS). He was also the Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, State University of New York at Stony Brook, Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry of the University of Utah, Assistant Professor in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Shizuoka. And now he is the professor in the College of Pharmacy, University of Tokyo. Ikuro Abe won the JSP (the Japanese Society of Pharmacognosy) Award for Young Scientists, the JSP Award for Scientific Contributions, Japan Award for Divisional Scientific Promotions given by the Pharmaceutical Society. He successively served as a member of the ASPET, the American Chemical Society, the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Chairman of the Natural Medicine Division of the Japanese Pharmaceutical Association, and is currently the Chairman of the Japanese Pharmacological Association.
Tomohiko Ohwada, male, born in May 1959, is a Doctor from University of Tokyo. He was an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy in University of Tokyo and a professor in the Department of Pharmacy of Nagoya University. He is currently the professor in the Department of Pharmacy of University of Tokyo. He won the JSP (the Japanese Society of Pharmacognosy) Award for Young Scientists, the scholarship of Sumitomo Science Foundation and Nagase Science Foundation Scholarship. And now he is a member of editorial boards of the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry. He has cultivated more than 80 Masters and 17 Doctors and four Doctors and six Masters are currently studying. Professor Tomohiko Ohwada mainly focuses on Organic Chemistry, Organic Synthesis, Structural Chemistry and Pharmacochemistry.
